Loom Weaving Course — Level 2

The loom weaving courses were conducted as part of the 'Thread's End' initiative launched by artist Nabil Saad at his studio in Burja. The courses were organized in Upper Metn in direct cooperation with and under the supervision of Nabil Saad Arts Studio. We had previously offered a loom weaving course in May 2022 — this is the second course, offered in August 2022. Several factors motivated us to offer it again: the strong reception and demand following the first course in May 2022, the revival of an authentic Lebanese heritage craft, and participants' discovery of their own creative capacities. Loom weaving courses are among the important offerings we are committed to continuing for those who wish to master the craft — and in cooperation with artist Nabil Saad, we aim to develop them into advanced, productive, and rewarding courses for participants in 2023.
