Artisan for a self-sufficient community — founded in December 2020 by a group of Upper Metn residents with diverse academic qualifications and professional and social experience.
Higher Metn Artisan reaches a broad cross-section of the community across all age groups and educational levels.

"We Build" — Higher Metn Artisan, artisan for a self-sufficient community. We believe that building the individual is the path to creating a better society. We work to empower community members and equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to move forward.
Our Focus Areas
Academic
Courses supporting school students and guiding them in choosing university majors; courses for graduates preparing them for the workforce; and capacity-building programs for employees across private, educational, and corporate sectors.
Professional
Vocational training courses including: nursing assistance, first aid, secretarial skills, Microsoft Office suite, IT and device repair, hairdressing, and beauty.
Crafts
Theoretical and practical courses for those wishing to learn a trade — including carpentry and furniture-making, mechanics, electrical repair, automotive electrical and mechanics, sewing and fashion design, embroidery and loom weaving, and heritage crafts such as ceramics, glasswork, copper engraving, straw weaving, and traditional food preparation.
