Visit to the President of the Upper Metn Municipalities Union

On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, a delegation from Higher Metn Artisan — comprising board members, general assembly member Mr. Joseph Hashem, and Ras Al-Matn Mayor Mr. Raja Abu Raslan — paid a congratulatory visit to Mr. Karim Sarkis on his assumption of the presidency of the Upper Metn Municipalities Union. Mr. Sarkis was introduced to the ideas, vision, and goals of Higher Metn Artisan, as well as the achievements accomplished since the association's founding in late 2020 through August 2023. Upcoming activities were also presented, including the Second Fine Art Gathering hosted in the village of Hasbaya Al-Matn in cooperation with the local pastoral social work committee, scheduled for Sunday, August 27, 2023, and the "Let's Play with Grandpa" activity to be held Sunday, September 3, 2023, in cooperation with Hilal Al-Nasr Club at Issam Makarem Stadium in Ras Al-Matn. Mr. Sarkis was invited to attend both events. Several ideas and collaboration possibilities were discussed, and agreement was reached to hold the Third Fine Art Gathering in the village of Shabaniyeh in 2024. Mr. Karim Sarkis warmly welcomed Higher Metn Artisan's ideas and commended the association's efforts and activities, particularly their benefit to individuals and community empowerment. He pledged full cooperation within the constraints of the economic challenges facing the country.
