Fundamentals of Charcoal Drawing

Higher Metn Artisan concluded on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, a course in charcoal drawing fundamentals that launched on Monday, August 14, under the supervision of visual artist Nour Al-Andaree. Certificates of participation were awarded to all students upon completion. The course was distinguished by its thorough grounding in the foundational principles of drawing, offering aspiring artists a solid base from which to develop their talent. On the closing day, Dr. Ikram Al-Ashqar (lecturer at the Lebanese University Faculty of Arts) paid a gracious visit to the course venue, expressed her positive impressions, and praised the participants' work — a visit that was received with deep appreciation and gratitude. Higher Metn Artisan thanks all who contributed to sharing this knowledge through the charcoal drawing course — with special thanks to the administrators of the Khalwat Falougha Social Center for hosting us and our participants for two weeks. All appreciation goes to artist Nour Al-Andaree for dedicating her time to the participants and generously imparting sound, professional drawing knowledge.
