Classical Theater Competition Between Upper Metn High Schools 2024

Higher Metn Artisan presented the third season of its Classical Theater Competition between Upper Metn high schools, launched in 2022 in cooperation with the Syndicate of Professional Artists and the Actors' Syndicate of Lebanon.
The ceremony was held on Friday, July 5, 2024, under the patronage and in the presence of MP Hadi Abu Al-Hassan, on the stage of the Sisters of Saint Joseph de Lyon School in Deir El-Harf.
Also attending were Ras Al-Matn Mayor Raja Abu Raslan, representative of the Educational Technology Syndicate Mrs. Ghadia Hilal, and a distinguished audience of community figures, educators, and social organization leaders.
The competition was evaluated by a jury of Lebanon's foremost names in acting, directing, and language, comprising artist Elsie Farneini (who announced the results), Syndicate President Naame Badawi, Syndicate President George Shalhoub, academic and artist Michel Hourani, and Syndicate President Jihad Al-Atrash.
Results: First place — Abdullah Al-Khoury Official Secondary School, Hamaana; Second place — Al-Manar Al-Haditha School, Ras Al-Matn; Third place — Najeeb Bek Salha Official Secondary School, Ras Al-Matn. Green Hills Private School had previously withdrawn for its own reasons.
Higher Metn Artisan extends warm thanks to Sister Christine Salameh, Principal of the Sisters of Saint Joseph de Lyon School, and to all who contributed to this event — attendees, photographers, sound engineers, and the school administration hosting the competition for the third consecutive year.
