An Intensive Course in the Fundamentals of Carpentry with Joseph Hachem Carpenter & Co.

For the second time, Higher Metn Artisan organized an intensive carpentry fundamentals course in cooperation with Joseph Hachem Carpenter & Co., running from June 3 to 14, 2024. The aim of this course is to encourage Lebanese youth to master essential, practical trades that empower individuals within their communities — one of the key professional courses on Higher Metn Artisan's annual program. Trades touch nearly every aspect of daily life and the home. Wood is a fundamental element in furniture and home finishing, making the 2024 carpentry course especially valuable. Over ten intensive days packed with knowledge and hands-on training, participants learned to craft door frames, wardrobes, and more. The administrative board extends its sincere thanks to Prof. Joseph Hachem for his generous cooperation, for opening the doors of his workshop to course participants, and for dedicating every effort to sharing his knowledge with honesty and dedication.
