Childhood: The Foundation Stone

The title speaks for itself — Higher Metn Artisan organized this activity in cooperation with the National Council for Lebanese Children, Metn Region. A child's psychological well-being is a priority of responsible nations. Since we cannot stand in for a responsible state, we act out of our own sense of responsibility toward our community and its children. Children are in constant need of attention and nurturing to develop into physically and psychologically healthy individuals. It was therefore essential to guide parents in raising their children and to address any disruptions that might unsettle a child's psychological stability. Three "Childhood: The Foundation Stone" workshops were delivered by Higher Metn Artisan during 2022, each running in recurring sessions over several months. The workshops were presented by psychotherapist Dr. Abeer Al-Aawar, a licensed practitioner with extensive experience in the field.
