The First Artisan Christmas Exhibition

Higher Metn Artisan's 2022 journey of activities concluded with the First Artisan Christmas Exhibition, a celebration that brought together a rich variety of local crafts and artisanal products. Craftspeople and artisans played an essential role in the exhibition's success, held under the patronage of the Ras El Metn municipality and organized by Higher Metn Artisan. Ras El Metn is a town long accustomed to fairs and festivals — until the country's circumstances changed and challenges multiplied, the last and most prolonged being the COVID-19 pandemic. The time had come to offer an event that the community could rally around, to revive this kind of activity, bring people joy, and put smiles on faces — which is exactly what the community needs. The First Artisan Christmas Exhibition was one of Higher Metn Artisan's stepping stones. Participation was opened to all interested parties and artisans a month in advance, and the majority of applicants were accommodated within the available space. It is worth noting that Higher Metn Artisan does not limit its work to any single town, but extends across all of Upper Metn's villages in coordination with local official bodies — and beyond Upper Metn whenever any organization seeks collaboration. We invite everyone who didn't get the chance to participate this time to follow our announcements. We welcome all inquiries and are open to cooperation and coordination with everyone, within the framework that guides Higher Metn Artisan's diverse activities. We thank all who participated and supported the First Artisan Christmas Exhibition, held on Friday, December 18, 2022. Special recognition goes to the efforts of our colleagues in both the administrative and general boards, and to every generous friend who offered unwavering support in pursuit of our goals and the spread of joy. We thank our participants for their trust and their wonderful feedback, and we are especially grateful to a public whose attendance exceeded even the participants' own expectations.
