Visit to His Excellency the Minister of Culture at His Office

Higher Metn Artisan was honored to visit Minister of Culture Judge Mohammad Wissam Al-Murtada at his office at Qasr Al-Sanayeh on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. The Minister was introduced to the goals and vision of Higher Metn Artisan and briefed on the activities accomplished since the association's founding to date. Agreement was also reached for His Excellency to patronize and attend a cultural event to be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 — the association's first Arabic Poetry and Oratory Ceremony, on the stage of the Sisters of Saint Joseph de Lyon School in Deir El-Harf. The Minister of Culture welcomed the cultural plan we had developed and encouraged the association to continue in the interest of young people, to spread culture, preserve the Arabic language, maintain Lebanon's shared heritage skills, and support creativity in all its forms. The meeting concluded with a commemorative photograph.
